Finance Committee announces hearing on tax policy and affordable housing

adThe Senate Finance Committee announced this week that it has scheduled a hearing for March 7 at 10:00 a.m. to examine the role of tax policy in increasing the supply of affordable housing for working families.

 

The witness list as of press time includes Denise Scott of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, Steve Walker of the Washington State Housing Finance Commission, Sharon Wilson Géno of the National Multifamily Housing Council, Mark A. Calabria of the Cato Institute, and Garrett Watson of the Tax Foundation.
