Arizona Voters Appear to Back a Required 60% Voter Support for Tax Increases via Ballot Measure

Proposition 132, unofficially approved by voters 11/8/22. In Arizona’s recent election held on November 8, 2022, it appears that Arizona voters favored amending the state constitution to require at least 60% of votes cast to approve an initiative or referendum that “enacts a tax.” Final official election results have yet to posted.
